Keep up with fireworks clubs and news.
Here's some info that you might use:
Join
a fireworks club and enjoy fireworks legally. Clubs provide legal
areas to shoot fireworks and opportunities to learn safety measures.
Some clubs have access to discounts and classes on how to build
and shoot commercial fireworks.
Nearly all fireworks clubs in the United States are endorsed by
the Pyrotechnics Guild
International (PGI).
The PGI provides resources, course materials, written publications,
and guidance for clubs and PGI members. In addition, the PGI sponsors
an annual convention each year that allows members to get together
to exchange ideas and view some of the best fireworks in the world.
You should consider joining the PGI if you are not already a member.

Acceptance into a college-level performing arts program is a major achievement for anyone. Blind musicians face even tougher obstacles. The nonprofit
Performing Arts Division of the National Federation of the Blind (PAD, NFB) celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding blind students with the Mary Anne Parks Performing Arts Scholarship, awarded at PAD’s annual July convention. PAD also provides subsidies, mentoring and peer support. Singer/songwriter & recording artist Donna Hill (Meshoppen), blind from Retinitis Pigmentosa, volunteers to raise awareness about PAD. Help creative blind Americans become independent, productive citizens. Give a tax-deductible contribution. Or, purchase the “Sound in Sight” CD, a multi-genre compilation of original songs & covers donated by blind recording artists, including Donna’s “The Edge of the Line.” |
